Wales v USA
USA have qualified for the FIFA World Cup 12 times including as hosts in 1994 and co-hosts in 2026. They finished in third place at the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930.
The United States Football Association was formed in 1913 and became members of FIFA in 1914. The Association became known as the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) in 1974.
The United States played unofficial matches against Canada in 1885, the first international matches held outside the United Kingdom, but their first official international game was a 3-2 win away to Sweden in August 1916.
Wales' first meeting with the USA was a 0-2 defeat in a friendly match in San Jose in 2003.
