Wales v Ghana
Ghana, known as the Black Stars, have qualified for the FIFA World Cup five times since their first appearance in Germany in 2006.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) was formed in 1957 to replace the Gold Coast Football Association following independence from Great Britain. The Gold Coast were members of FIFA since 1948 with the GFA assuming the membership in 1957.
Ghana recognises the Gold Coast and British Togoland's 1-0 victory over Nigeria in May 1950 as their first official international match.
Wales' only meeting with the Ghana was a 1-1 draw in a friendly match in Cardiff in 2026.
