History

The Federación de Fútbol de Chile (FFCh) was formed in 1895 and, along with Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay, became founding members of CONMEBOL in 1916.

Chile's first official international game was a 1-3 defeat to Argentina in Buenos Aires in May 1910.
